Todays Beginners and Techniques workshop

Today's workshop was different to my usual monthly workshops with a smaller group although it didnt seem any different because we had a jam packed day full of everything from die cuting machines to utee, and the beginners showed their true colours when they were thrown in at the deep end ( no problem to them at all )
The 1st card was made using dies cuts, embossing folder, nestabillities and punches, 2nd using a chalk technique, 3rd we made an easel card using a gold embossed stamped image and last we inked a coaster with distress inks and heat embossed with utee,
It was great meeting up again with workshop regulars and was great to meet Monique, Grainne, Lucy and of course Ciara ( who I am borrowing when my mojo goes walkies and I need a lift because this girls enthusiasm is uplifting :) )
Lisa brought along her BEAUTIFUL album that she is making for her son ( the photo doesnt do it justice at all ) the detail is fantastic and such a special gift, thanks Lisa.

Looking forward to May 1st already :)

it was a lovely day, I really enjoyed it...glad you liked the album, must finish it off now!! thanks for all your patience, I was gonna try my UTEE when I got home and then discovered I had black and not clear, so have to apply the brain cells to work out what to do with it! Also forgot to bring the watercolour with me.........next time.....

Absolutely fantastic day as usual Jackie, I am already looking for nice background stamps that I can use with chalks. The in laws have been told to be on the look out for round beer mats lol! Loved the shrink plastic too, my list has just grown since I got home from yesterdays workshop. Elaine, Ciara is a little sweetie & is such a credit to you. It was lovely to meet all the new faces too. So looking forward to May 1st, only 20 more sleeps!!!
